Two trips to visit my parents at their winter home south of Tucson provided me the opportunity to expand on the subject matter included in my landscape photography. The desert is startlingly beautiful in a stark, mysterious way. I pulled out my parents' copy of "DeLorme's Arizona Atlas and Gazetteer" and chose locations in a fairly random fashion for a couple of early-morning shoots. I'm not big on getting out of bed early when I'm on vacation, but I was glad I had done so when I saw the results on this page. |
